Health Guarantee:

This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health and up to date on routine preventive health care at the time of sale. The Breeder will provide a health care record with vaccine and deworming schedules.

Black Oak Catahoula puppies are guaranteed to be free of debilitating genetic defects, including congenital deafness and inherited eye diseases. In the event that the puppy is found to be deaf and/or have vision defects, the Buyer is to notify the Breeder and provide a copy of the veterinarian's clinical findings. The Breeder reserves the right to obtain a second opinion from a qualified veterinarian or testing center if desired. The Breeder will review the findings, and provide one of the following:

1. If the Buyer wishes to return the puppy, the Breeder will either reimburse the purchase price or provide a replacement puppy of equal value. The original puppy and all of its associated paperwork must be returned to the Breeder. The Buyer assumes responsibility for any and all transportation costs.

2. If the buyer wishes to keep the puppy, the Breeder will either reimburse the purchase price or provide a replacement puppy of equal value after receiving veterinary documentation that the original puppy has been spayed or neutered.

The Buyer's Responsibility:

The Buyer agrees to maintain this dog in good health, by providing proper nutrition, adequate housing, and routine preventative health care (including appropriate monthly heartworm prevention, regular deworming, and vaccines as recommended by a licensed veterinarian).

If the Buyer chooses to sell or otherwise place this dog elsewhere, the Breeder shall reserve first right to re-acquire the dog.

The Buyer agrees not to give, sell, lease, or otherwise dispose of this dog or any of its offspring to a pet store, dealer/broker, puppy mill, or animal shelter.
